Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar Itinerary

15 Days Nairobi - Samburu - Mountain Lodge - L.Nakuru - Maasai Mara - Serengeti -Ngorongoro - Arusha - Zanzibar Beach Safari

Day 1: Arrival Nairobi - Samburu
On your arrival you will be met by Adventure E. A. Tours representatives who will brief you on your safari. Then depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through central Kenya and north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve arriving Samburu Serena Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge fullboard.

Day 2: Samburu
Spend a full day in Samburu National park which is home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy's zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe.  Depart for a morning game drive and return to the lodge for lunch and thereafter, prepare for the afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge.

Day 3: Samburu - Serena Mountain Lodge
After your breakfast, we drive to the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya arriving at Serena Mountain Lodge in time for lunch. Enjoy your afternoon relaxing in the lodge watching the game from the balcony with an optional guided nature walk. In the night  enjoy overnight floodlit game viewing. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 4: Serena Mountain lodge - Lake Nakuru
After breakfast depart to Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive in time for lunch, there after an afternoon game drive  in the park. The ornithological Paradise supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos  and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. 56 different species of mammals including, endangered  Rothschild Giraffe, Black and white Rhino, waterbucks, baboons  and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara National Park
After breakfast we head to Maasai Mara to arrive in time for lunch at Mara Serena Lodge, before emberking on the afternoon game drive. Maasai Mara park is not only the most patronized game sanctuary in Kenya, it is also a world famous Park. Maasai Mara holds within its boarders an estimated 452 animal varieties of species having been documented here. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 6 & 7. Maasai Mara National Park
Spend this two full days on these wide open rolling grasslands you will see  incredible variety of animals such as: the Big five, gazelle, cheetah, antelope and zebra, Giraffes etc. Once every year millions of wildebeests converge to migrate  from the Serengeti in northern tanzania crossing the Mara river into kenya, in search of fresh feeding grounds, which takes place in late July-October. During this exciting spectacle hundreds of animals are swept away by the first moving Mara River and others are killed by the ferocious African Crocodiles or other predators. Visits to a Maasai village can be arranged while a hot air balloon flight at an extra cost is highly recomended. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge.

Day 8: Maasai Mara - Serengeti
Depart Maasai mara to Serengeti through Isebania border. You  will be met by our representatives in Tanzania, exchanged Vechiles and proceed with En-route Game drive. Arrival at Serengti Serena Lodge in time for lunch, Serengeti Serena Lodge is set high on a hill with breathtaking vistas of a landscape teeming with game. Inspired by a traditional African village, separate rondavel 'huts' house the luxury guest rooms. From the overall impression to the smallest detail, the lodge is rich in local atmosphere created by indigenous handicrafts and art. Later depart for an afternoon game drive.
Return to Serengeti Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Serengeti National Reserve
Depart for a game drive after your breakfast take a picnic lunch with you. Serengeti is the most famous of Tanzania's national parks and is one of the world's last great wildlife refuges. On the seemingly endless and almost treeless plains, there are an estimated three million large animals in constant search of food and water, most take part in a seasonal migration that is unparallel in nature. Driven by the rains, over one million wildebeest and a few hundred thousand zebra and gazelles move to fresh grazing lands, in columns of several kilometers length and crossing crocodile infested rivers without regard to losses, for dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 10: Ngorongoro
After breakfast, depart for morning game drive at Serengeti return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch depart towards Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, which is built into the rim of a dormant volcano, the plants and ivy-covered native stone blending masterfully with its surroundings with the Olduvai Gorge, the 'birthplace of man', close by. The volcano and surrounding landscape are part of a vast conservation area inhabited by the Maasai tribe, as well as an extra-ordinary variety of big game and birdlife. Most guest rooms have private terraces with views of the crater floor where countless animals make it their home. At Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, visitors co-exist in perfect harmony with the natural environment and wildlife that inhabits it. Depart after relaxing for late afternoon game drive, thereafter return to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast prepare for a full day game viewing of the crater with picnic lunch.
Ngorongoro crater is without doubt one of the most outstanding natural features in the world and was declared a World Heritage Site in 1978. Stunningly beautiful, the 18 km wide and 600 meter deep caldera is teeming with wildlife and one of the best places to see black rhino. With a picnic in a shady grove to this garden of Eden, most large mammals can be see, optional leisure visit to a local Maasai village. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge - fullboard.

Day 12: Arusha - Zanzibar .
After your breakfast drive to Arusha arriving in time for lunch , after lunch you be transfered to the airport, to aboard a flight to Zanzibar. On your arrival in Zanzibar airport you will be met by our representatives and be transfer to Serena Inn for dinner and overnight.

Days 13, 14 and 15 Zanzibar
Enjoy your holidays in magical Zanzibar, relaxing and enjoying the endless beach line. Optionally, take a Spice Tour on the way to the East Coast where you can learn about Zanzibar famous Spices and herbs. A visit to historical stone town is quite interesting, visit Mnemba Island fantastic for snorkeling, dolphins can be seen from the sailing boat until the evening. Dinner and overnight at Matemwe Retreat.

Day 16: Zanzibar - Departure to Nairobi
After breakfast/lunch you will be transferred to Zanzibar airport for your departure flight to Nairobi, to connect your flight home.
